Project Manager (Contract) – Collateral / Settlements – Luxembourg

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced business-focused Project Manager to lead delivery of several projects within Europe.   The successful contractor will manage customer delivery timelines, ensure project governance and controls are followed, and work closely with small teams and stakeholders across multiple European locations.

The PM will be expected to engage with the subject matter and support delivery by understanding the project topics (settlement/collateral-related), coordinating stakeholders, and driving execution.

Key Responsibilities
•    Take ownership of end-to-end project coordination and delivery for multiple initiatives with defined customer deadlines
•    Establish and maintain project structure: plan, milestones, RAID, actions, status reporting, governance
•    Drive delivery against timelines, managing dependencies, priorities, and scope changes
•    Coordinate stakeholders across European locations, ensuring clear communications and alignment
•    Support workshops and documentation to clarify business needs and translate them into actionable delivery plans
•    Ensure project management processes are followed and project risks/issues are escalated appropriately
•    Work flexibly within a small team, contributing where needed across the project lifecycle (analysis, coordination, UAT readiness, cutover planning as applicable)

Required Skills & Experience
•    Proven experience delivering business / operational change projects in banking/financial services
•    Strong project management capability: planning, stakeholder management, governance, delivery tracking
•    Excellent communication and coordination skills, comfortable with diverse international clients/stakeholders
•    Ability to ramp up quickly on new topics and manage complexity in “small/medium” projects

Desirable (Highly Beneficial)
•    Understanding of SWIFT messaging (e.g., settlement / securities-related messages)
•    Exposure to collateral management (nice to have, not mandatory)
