Game Services Manager

Location: Hybrid with Stockholm studio
Duration: Permanent

Boasting a number of top-ranking positions in the global mobile game industry, many of their best-known titles has gathered together communities of millions of players around the world.With headquarters all around the world, the focus is on their Swedish studio.

The Role

Stockholm studio is looking for an outstanding Game Services Manager who will play a critical role in managing all their European mobile game teams’ centralized tools and services. You will be a big connector in their game development efforts, and you will drive the expansion and use of new tools as well as maintain and improve the current ones.

The ideal candidate must be a dynamic team player with a strong technical background, tremendous capacity in project management, a passion for learning and sharing knowledge with peers, and the ability to coordinate complex processes.

Responsibilities

Platform Service:

- Provide support for server integrations
- Liaise with the central FunPlus SDK team and help European teams with integration

Growth and Analytics:

- Help the European game teams select and use the best analytics tools, liaise with tools providers and support the team´s integration of selected tools
- Examine the viability of integrating AB tests in the live operations process

Customer Engagement:

- Select customer service tools and drive integration an operation of the tools
- Investigate tools and processes for customer segmentation and VIP systems
- Create processes to use social media to communicate with customers
- Liaise with community teams on information flow from players to the game teams

Launch Coordination:

- Own the launch readiness checklist and launch process
- Drive execution of checklist items and take responsibility for localization vendor selection and coordination

The Profile

•A strong technical background with several years of experience in game or consumer product backend development or development management.
•High level of organizational skills: time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Communication and networking skills, written and verbal.
•Experience in complex multicultural large company environments.
•Mobile or games-as-a-service experience.
•Experience with managing technical solutions to analytics, live ops, live product tools.
•Excellent command of English.
•Mandarin ability is a strong bonus.
•Eligible to work in the EU.
