IT Leader Role

IT Leader- Pharma Firm- Basel

My client, a large Pharmaceutical firm based in Basel, is currently looking for an IT Leader to work on the operational management of the whole IT division of the company. This role will be a replacement role as the current IT Leader who has worked there for many years is retiring.

In this role you will:

• Examine new technologies

• Work on the provision and operation of all applications and IT services (LAN, WLAN, client-server infrastructures, CITRIX, Linux, Microsoft365, Cloud and VOIP Services)

• Work on the development, monitoring and adaptation of ICT security concepts (such as data or network security)

• Coordinate and monitor projects with external service providers

• Plan and implement server updates

Ideally, they are looking for someone with:

• Several years of experience in a modern and demanding environment with in-depth knowledge of the Server and client virtualization (CITRIX, Docker) as well as the Microsoft365 environment (Azure, Sharepoint, Teams)

• Experience in Development Operations (DevOps)

• Innovative personality who knows the current trends and developments

• Goal-oriented personality with entrepreneurial foresight with pronounced social and Leadership skills

• Proven communication skills with the ability to meet a wide variety of stakeholders and inspire

• German and English language skills
