IT Security Architect (M/F) - Cloud/ Hybrid Cloud applications. - Contract or Permanent - Luxembourg

Your mission
You provide application security guidance including secure coding techniques and reviews, education & awareness, process and tools, security testing support and guidance for internal software development projects
Taking responsibility for design, implementation and maintenance of the cloud and hybrid cloud applications
Managing procedures and practices relating to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information
You contribute to continuous improvement of the IT Landscape
You are engaged in balancing security necessity with architectural and operational considerations with the respective responsible architects
Taking over the approval responsibility during cut-to-over-production of new solutions and changes with focus on security matter
Maintaining backlog of security related activities in specific focus of applications that are required to be implemented
Communicating and Coordinating with the Group security officer on the common perceived security processes and define appropriate guidelines on company level

Profile Sought

University Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Science, Mathematics or an equivalent working experience
Strong knowledge in application security vulnerabilities, testing techniques, and the OWASP framework
Depth understanding of secure web application development, distributed systems, micro services architectures, RESTful APIs
Understanding the security trade-off of the services provided by the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure and you provide guidance to internal developer
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Cloud Technology
Programming language (e.g., Java, Node.js, Bash, …)
You have expertise in information security subject matter and technical security architectural principles
You have demonstrated ability to manage internal and external relationships up to senior levels of management
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English. A good knowledge of German or French will be considered as an advantage.
