Senior Java Developer – long term contract – remote/hybrid – Prague, Czech Republic

A Senior Java role has become available to work in the Risk IT department, supporting the growth into new products and markets. The Risk IT department is focusing on a culture of openness, high standards, and responsibility.

Required skills:

• Java programming skills
• SQL databases experience
• Data modelling and distributed systems knowledge
• Unix/Linux development and scripting experience (bash, Python, etc.)
• Messaging experience (ActiveMQ, AMQP or similar)
• Code management systems exp. (e.g. Git)

Technology stack: :

• Spring Boot
• Hibernate
• MySQL
• OpenAPI
• Apache Tomcat

A 3-month contract with an immediate start. Once the 3-month have been completed, based on the results you have, an extension is offered with an average contract length of at least two years.
The role is paying 320 euro/day. Hybrid work environment- you will start by working remote and it is expected to commit to office work – 2 days/week once the Covid-19 situation improves.
