Java Developer - Prague, Czech Republic - Freelance Role

We use Git, JIRA, Maven and Liquibase to support our SCRUM development and Jenkins, Sonar, Junit, Playwright and Cucumber tests in our integration.

Team members should possess and demonstrate the following technical skills and qualification:

oPractical experience with development of standard & enterprise Java applications (3 years or more)
oExcellent Java programming skills
oExperience and knowledge of Oracle Database Server and PL/SQL
oMust be a responsible and reliable team player with good communication skills

Experience with following technologies is a plus:

oUML usage, design patterns
oExperience with Spring (Framework, Boot, Security, Data, Integration) or Frontend technologies is advantage, but not mandatory
oPrevious knowledge of SWIFT protocol / messages will be an advantage
oA background in financial markets, clearing or banking will be an advantage
oContinuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Artifactory, IntelliJ)
oCommand script development and execution on Linux and Windows (ksh/bash/PowerShell)
oJenkins, Sonar integration tools
oKnowledge of unit testing tools such as Junit / Mocking Frameworks / Playwright

The following interpersonal skills are essential:

oCritical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
oEnglish is mandatory and this includes good English writing skills
oAbility to work in a cross-location international team
oAn interest in financial world (Mutual / Hedge Funds) is appreciated
