Junior IT Operations Analyst – Production Support

Location: Luxembourg (3 days a week onsite)

Experience: 1–2+ years

Working hours: Flexibility is required, including occasional shifts and weekend work.

Shift pattern: Monitoring role on a 21/5 shift pattern:

• Early shift: 06:00–14:30

• Late shift: 10:00–18:30

• Night shift: 18:30–03:00

 

Are you looking to kick-start your career in IT operations within a fast-paced, enterprise environment? This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level IT professional (or graduate with hands-on experience) to join a high-performing infrastructure and production support team.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining critical IT systems, supporting live environments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across multiple platforms.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing technical and application support across production environments
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and system issues
  • Automating routine administrative tasks using scripting
  • Deploying software releases into test and production environments
  • Supporting incident and problem management processes
  • Provisioning and maintaining test environments

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic understanding of databases (Oracle and/or MS SQL Server)
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Exposure to scripting (Unix Shell, Perl or similar)
  • Some knowledge of application servers (e.g., WebSphere, MQ) is advantageous
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours (shift and occasional weekend work required)
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment

 

Nice to Have

  • Additional European languages (German or French)
