My esteemed client, a leading financial institution, is actively seeking a Market Risk Business Analyst. This role offers the opportunity to engage with state-of-the-art technology on a global scale, implement industry-leading delivery methodologies, and deliver exceptional application and infrastructure services.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical global risk systems, supporting market risk metrics, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder interactions.

Your Requirements:

•Extensive experience in overseeing major business and IT change initiatives within the finance sector.
•Collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
•Proficiently managing multiple concurrent workstreams and assignments.
•Comprehensive knowledge of critical market risk indicators, such as Greeks/sensitivities, VaR, and ES.
•Adeptness with a variety of asset categories (e.g., fixed income, equities, derivatives).
•Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
•Competency in using SQL.
•Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence and JIRA.

Your Responsibilities:

•Collaborate with business users to elicit requirements, promoting stakeholder alignment as necessary.
•Offer input and, if necessary, contribute to the creation of business requirement documents.
•Develop comprehensive functional specifications.
•Craft detailed interface specifications.
•Enforce adherence to company and team documentation guidelines.
•Aid in the creation of automated acceptance tests.
•Perform manual testing when essential during system integration and user acceptance testing.
•Contribute to defect prioritization as needed during UAT.
•Engage in the 3rd line production support schedule.
