This isn’t a role where you just keep payments ticking over.
You’ll work for an employer investing heavily in its payments function: with big budgets, new projects, and a growing headcount.

You’ll manage a team responsible for daily operations and projects that reshape how payments are handled across the bank. From instant payments and ISO 20022 to FIDA and PSD3. With no separate project team in the middle, you’ll have the authority and budget to deliver change directly.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and grow a circa 10-person payments team. All onshore in Luxembourg.
• Drive major payments projects: new regulations, new processes, and system upgrades.
• Oversee cash inflows, settlements, and account-to-account operations.
• Represent the function with senior management and across group entities
• Visit other offices of the bank across Europe to present the evolutions, discover customer feedback and implement appropriate solutions.

What you bring:

• 8+ years’ experience in payments, with 3+ in leadership
• Deep knowledge of SEPA, SWIFT, SIC, Instant Payments and related regulations
• Strong track record in projects and process change
• Either fluent in French or English, and intermediate in the secondary language
• Organised, proactive, and confident leading both people and projects
