Client Services Consultant - Custody Onboarding

  • Contract: 12 Months 
  • Location: Limerick, Ireland 
  • Rate: from €29.18 to €31.83 PAYE max
  • Contractor will be expected to be in office 5 days per week during training period (3 days / week on site thereafter) 

 

Department

Limerick’s Custody Client Service team are responsible for 600+ clients. The department has a high level of interaction with internal teams to source information which enables the team to provide Prompt Quality Responses for all client queries.

Role

Based in Limerick, the successful candidate will report into the Custody Onboarding Manager. The successful individual will ultimately be responsible and the principle point of contact for both Clients and Investment Managers .  Working with a dynamic team the role entails liaising with Clients both internally and externally to ensure all key milestones are achieved. The role will combine project/onboarding delivery and oversight of Clients, Third party interaction as well as issue escalation and resolution.

Principal responsibilities

  • To act as the primary point of contact for all custody onboarding Clients.
  • Take on for new business setup to ensuring  a seamless transition to Northern Trust Custody.
  • Ownership, management and resolution of all Client onboarding requirements.
  • Maintain and monitor all client onboarding projects.
  • Ensure onboarding operation set ups are in line with client needs.
  • Coordinates / manages custody onboarding set up as directed by the Investment Manager.
  • Awareness of transition activity linked to the Client.
  • Initiates frequent, proactive communication with the Investment Manager and Client to verify perceived levels of onboarding tasks aligned to the project plans.
  • Organising connectivity, linkages, invoices and operational requirements to ensure complete custody set up in the systems.
  • Maintain New Business Tracker and other business database updating as required.
  • Execute with onboarding management framework.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all internal partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all NT risk policies and adherence to ‘Best Practice’ documents.
  • Communicate effectively with RMs / CSMs / internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Global Custody operational knowledge with proven Client Service expertise is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.
  • Technically sound in area of expertise with broader knowledge of other business areas.
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve the multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables, with a mature approach.
  • Ability to work within a team and support junior team members.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise their day to day workload to meet client deadlines.
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrates an excellent understanding of risk associated with the role.
  • A College or University degree is preferred.
