IT Project Manager - Leading Bank - Luxembourg

- Initially 12 months but plan is up to 2 years
- €650 - €700 per day
- Hybrid Working

Position

•Has expertise in managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance.
•Overall responsibility for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects
•Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy
•Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures. Able to facilitate workshops such as JAD, RAD and DRP sessions
•The individual should be competent in all areas of project management.

Responsibilities:

•Leading, planning, managing and directing a project team to accomplish the objectives of a project with limited, local objectives
•Develops project plans with assigned tasks, milestones/deliverables and oversee budgets
•Collaborate with Infrastructure /Application Teams to determine best methods to meet project objectives
•Reports changes in project timelines, resources, or budget
•Report risks and issues during the life of projects and create mitigation plans to remove any obstacles
•May take part in auditing documentations of their peers
•May provide coaching to Jr. Project or Project Coordinators
•Strategic in developing, implementing and administering IT programs within functional areas

Qualifications

•Strong analytical, communication and technical skills.
•Candidate must have strong project management skills, and should understand various project methodologies, processes and standards. Has expertise in managing all phases of technology infrastructure projects from concept through implementation and maintenance to closure.
•Responsible for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate to large projects using a prescribed methodology.
•Experience with Agile/SDLC and Waterfall/IPLC Methodology
•Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules roles and resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans.
•Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
•Candidate will be responsible for project documentation, project schedule, meeting agendas, minutes, status reporting, etc.
•Candidate should be familiar with technology infrastructure (Servers/Storage/Network) as well as MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint
