Application Release Manager / 6-month Extendable Contract / Competitive Salary

As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for planning, designing, building, configuring and testing of all software and hardware releases to designated services. You will manage all aspects of the end to end release process, ensuring coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams.

As an Application Release Manager for a leading global fintech giant, you will be the key person within a release who secures the code delivery across the applications with a good coherence (respect the various dependencies: human, environment, code) You will be also the main point of contact for the teams involved in a Release (IT Operation -Test, Production and Performance-, Compilation/Delivery team, Development, IT/Business Testers).

Task and responsibilities

You will be responsible for JIRA follow-up and the change management process, making sure changes are recorded and implemented.
You will be required to:
•Coordinate the various development teams within the Release delivery process.
•Understand the Investment Funds Services IT landscape (and Clearstream in general).
•Monitor progress of Development within a release and report to the Release Manager.
•Monitor Jira and provide statistics to Management.
•Follow the change management process closely.
•Define code merge approach.

Mandatory skills and experiences

•Master's degree (or equivalent) in a computer-based discipline.
•At least 5 years experience in development.
•Knowledge of SQL
•Able to understand IT Architecture.
•Good team player with excellent communications skills.
•Some knowledge of Clearstream and Vestima is a plus.
•Jira knowledge is required.
•Experience in testing is a plus.
•Fluent in English
