SENIOR BUSINESS CONSULTANT/ FUND ACCOUNTING CHANGE PROGRAM

Description

We are proud to be working with one of the world's largest custodian banks in the world who are currently seeking a Senior Business Consultant to support as business lead for the Strategic Operating Model (SOM). The role will interact with the business globally in analysing and supporting operational and design requirements to support the migration of global fund accounting on to the SOM Architecture.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse operational procedures and processes, working with the FA operations team to identify areas for automation which would be required to be fully compliant with SOM.
• Design the relevant functionality on the accounting platform to support Fund migration to the new model.
• Provide support for upstream interfaces and downstream reporting.
• Elicit and document functional requirements, oversee the development of new functionality, perform user acceptance testing & support implementation a and rollout.
• Employ project management tools and techniques when working on docket or project initiatives
• Interact and liaise with the Architecture and Technology teams as well as external vendors to resolve functional & technical concerns.
• Develop as a functional Subject Matter Expert for the Enterprise platform, documenting and developing a knowledge base, and cross-training team members.
• As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level
• Provide various management reports and Operational MIS.

Skills Requirements

• Managerial Experience of NAV Production an asset
• Project experience of driving small change and strategic fund accounting platform upgrades / implementations or transformations a must.
• Fluent English and French a plus, but not essential
• Open minded individual who can cultivate a positive team environment in a challenging & change business.
• Collaborate, constructive & Can do attitude is a must
• Ability to face off to senior business stakeholders.
• Self-starter with advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, or a strong operational background in fund administration or financial reporting
• A good understanding of the GP3 / FIS platform or other Fund Accounting platform.
• Strong desktop, IT and systems skills required, and an ability to liaise and translate between technical and non-technical departments.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills

IMPORTANT

Please note, due to the current uncertainty with the pandemic, candidates will be required to work on-site in Luxembourg 2/3 days per week at any given time. As it currently stands (21.12.2021) this is a fully remote position whereby the candidate MUST still be in Luxembourg, or on the border at least.
