Your challenge as a Senior Consultant in Accounting & Reporting Innovation
As a senior consultant, you get the opportunity to develop your consulting and commercial skills by delivering projects and by building strong relationships with our clients. You play an active role in the optimization and innovation of the reporting and accounting functions of financial institutions in local and international multidisciplinary engagements. We help our clients all the way from vision and strategy to the implementation of change and innovation throughout their functions, organizations, processes and data-landscape. Apart from project delivery, you’ll explore business development and shape new propositions together with your colleagues.

Your missions

You are part of a team that advises leading multinationals on how to build an efficient and compliant accounting and reporting function.
You keep abreast of the latest data and technology driven trends and developments in the financial services sector.
You lead streams or parts of multidisciplinary project delivery teams as a stream lead.
You are responsible for timely project delivery of your stream in order to exceed client expectations.
You explore and develop your own commercial network for sales opportunities.
You act as a change ambassador for sustainable innovations and transformations.
You support the management of partnerships that can be beneficial for our business and clients in accounting and reporting.

The profile, knowledge, experience and skills required for that role

You have strong communication and consulting skills and take initiative to go for the extra mile in order to deliver the best possible result for our clients and your colleagues.
Problem solving under time constraints as well as the invention of creative solutions and insights are your strong suits.
Another strength is your ability to absorb information on digital developments in short amount of time and to apply it effectively.
You’re collaborative in style, empathic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the client organization.
In addition, you’re flexible when it comes to the location of our varied (international) assignments.

Other things that you bring are:

A University Master’s degree, preferably in a field such as Finance and Accounting, Business Economy or Business Administration.
You have approx. 3 years of work experience in a consulting firm or leading financial institution.
You’re familiar with change and larger transformation engagements in the financial services sector, and have experience with reporting and accounting innovations, CFA certification is a plus.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Dutch is considered a real advantage, proficiency in French or German is a plus.
You are already located in the Netherlands and fit the visa requirements to assure you are eligible to work in the Netherlands.
