Senior Full Stack Developer

The full-stack developer will be working on innovative products and technologies that are the future of the Client. As a Developer, he/she will be working with a first-class team and brilliant-minds in tackling extremely challenging problems, while shipping high-quality application and developing deep product knowledge, technical expertise and problem-solving.

Environment:

Co-located feature and support teams in an open space.

• There are around 40 people across teams dedicated to Luxembourg lab ecosystem.

• Each feature team is composed of Product Owner, Scrum Master and elements of Development team.

• Support is composed by leadership, cross-team UX / UI design, DevOps service teams.

• Business lines are distributed from Luxembourg, UK, Ireland. A

• flat structure is promoted in the lab ecosystem: everyone can talk to everyone.

• Direct communication is very common; whiteboards, Post-Its. etc. are used often as communication mediums.

Typical Day:

You will be participating as a full-time team member on an Agile development team where you will be liaising with other Scrum teams, Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts and QAs, as appropriate.
Every day you will provide the Client with your expertise and passion for software developments, dealing with your peers, being motivated, self-driven and proactive.
You will take pride in producing quality products with an analytical mind

Languages:

English - must have; easy to understand by non-native speakers.
French - nice to have

Must Have Skills:

• Hands-on development and delivery experience (+3 years) using Java and Spring Framework

• Extensive hands-on experience (+5 years) with a client side rendering framework such as Angular (preferred), Ember, Vue.js or React

• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka

• Micro services architecture and platforms as Spring Boot

• Experience in SQL, NoSQL

• Great Object Oriented coding practices, including strong design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.

• Experience in DevOps capabilities E.g. Jenkins, Maven, UrbanCode etc

• Real passion for software engineering and best practices

• Passion for technology, team leadership and a willingness to mentor and work with developers at all levels of experience

• Experience in Agile , Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approach such as Continuous Integration, TDD, infrastructure as code

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in Cloud platforms as Pivotal

• Experience with Elastic Search
