Senior Platform System Engineer 80-100% (f / m) Zurich
Do you want to work with leading technologies - for example from Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco or IBM - and help shape the future of Swiss IT outsourcing and multi-cloud provider?
Your goals
As a Senior Systems Engineer Platform, you will take on the role of a specialist for our customers in the area of platform services.
You are responsible for the design and implementation of platform solutions. You also define architectures and concepts independently.
You implement projects / solutions for customers in German-speaking Switzerland and / or transfer them to the … operating organization as a managed service. You also develop new and existing services internally.
You support your colleagues in operational matters across the entire platform product and service portfolio. You also support our company organization.
In cooperation with the … sales organization, you will develop solutions that provide clear added value for our customers.
Your skills
• Many years of in-depth experience in the following products:
• VMware vSphere and vSAN
• x86 server hardware
• VEAAM Backup Portfolio
• Experience with scripting (especially PowerShell)
• Advantage of additional know-how and experience:
• Knowledge of storage (preferably NetApp)
• Basic knowledge in Linux and containers
• Knowledge of vRealize Suite
Your education
• Training as a computer scientist and several years of proven professional experience
• Further training as a computer scientist (HF, HF) is an advantage
• Knowledge of ITIL V3 (optional)
• Driver's license cat. B
