Senior Engineer - Bank- Zurich- (up to 4 days a week working from home)

My client, a leading bank based in Zurich, is currently looking for a Senior Engineer to join their core banking technology team.

In this role you will be working on the:
Operation of a dedicated OpenShift cluster
Deploying a Strimzi Kafka cluster
Load and performance testing of Avaloq's OpenShift application components
Supporting Avaloq in further development and analysis of the containerized components
Conception and implementation of safety-relevant aspects
Co-design of business and operational processes as well as coaching of employees in the company
Implementation of quality assurance measures (including architecture reviews, code analysis and load and performance tests)

They are ideally looking for someone who has:

Completed bachelor's or master's degree in computer science (University, FH, HF)
Excellent track record in software engineering with Java and Spring of complex applications
In-depth knowledge of web services and client-server architectures with Kubernetes or OpenShift
Several years of experience in the area of ??DevOps for containerized applications
In-depth knowledge of Apache Kafka
Experience with SQL and Linux Shell Scripting
Fluent German and good English skills
