TA Business Analyst (Migration)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client migrations to a new Transfer Agency platform from requirements gathering through to go-live.
- Manage the full TA lifecycle, including account opening, investor registration, dealing, corporate actions, reporting, trailer/retro fees and reconciliations.
- Document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows for system enhancements and platform changes.
- Analyse and map end-to-end SWIFT messaging flows, including payments and settlement instructions.
- Assess and model complex corporate actions and non-standard events (e.g., approximations, expropriations).
- Coordinate with Operations, Technology, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and user acceptance testing.
- Support implementation, issue resolution, and post-go-live stabilisation.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong TA migration experience with hands-on requirements gathering.
- Deep understanding of TA processes across the lifecycle.
- Knowledge of SWIFT processes and payment flows.
- Ability to translate operational needs into clear, structured business requirements.
- Experience with complex and non-standard event handling.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
