Tech Lead - Data Warehouse Consultant (Part-Time)

Location: Luxembourg
Workload: 40–50% allocation (part-time)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Consultant to support a strategic banking initiative. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing a data warehouse from the ground up, establishing robust frameworks, and ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and regulatory needs within the banking environment.

• Design and build a data warehouse from scratch, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.

• Develop and implement frameworks for data integration, governance, and reporting.

• Utilize Datastage and Oracle to design, develop, and optimize ETL processes and database structures.

• Ensure compliance with banking standards, security, and data privacy regulations.

• Provide guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams for sustainable operations.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and adoption.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in building data warehouses from scratch and developing supporting frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of Datastage (ETL) and Oracle (database development and optimization).

• French language fluency is mandatory for effective communication with stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in banking or financial services, with an understanding of compliance and reporting requirements.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently on a part-time basis while delivering high-quality results.
