Technical Developer / DevOps Engineer - Contract role - Brussels

A contract position, as Technical Developer / DevOps Engineer, with a competitive day rate plus a modern office layout located in Belgium.

Key skills;
Test & Debug
Unix command line (to upload, move, delete files & trigger jobs):
SQL (must)
UAC and Teradata (plus)
Perform the execution of the Dirty Cycles in Jenkins based on Excel Mappings
Basic Excel knowledge is a must
Git, Jenkins & Jira is a plus

Responsibilities
Perform development work in one of the technical domains like Oracle, Teradata, SQL, Java, ETL technologies, in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) as well as in groovy, Jenkins, data warehouse data transformations, CI/CD, …
Perform the data-load & job chain follow-up in the (non-)production environments
Technically support the functional analysts

The candidate should ideally have experience working in the financial sector. This is a contract position, and the candidate must be a self-starter working closely with a small development team reporting to the team leader.
