Test Automation Engineer – Java

Skillfinder is currently recruiting for a Java Automation Engineer to join a global investment bank based in Prague on a permanent basis.

You must be based in the Czech Republic to work remotely. If you are not based in Prague and looking to relocate you must be eligible to work in Prague.

The role:

In this role you will develop and maintain and set of frameworks, which provides features for easier implementation of automated functional as well as non-functional tests.

Responsibilities

•Designing and implementing new customized solutions and tools to satisfy automation requirements
•Identifying new automation and providing best practices how to achieve business goals using available automation toolset
•Helping with writing automated tests, resolving test failures, and helping with integrations to DevOps pipelines and providing support for customers
•Participating on release coordination and cooperating closely with testing teams on automation of real test cases

Experience:

•Substantial knowledge of Java
•Experience with testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit) and performance testing
•Understanding of software development and testing process, and Object Orientated Design
•Knowledge of commercial development tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jira, TeamCity and Confluence
