Duration: Rolling contract
Location: Belgium/Luxembourg (initially remote but requirements to visit the office after restrictions are lifted)

The Project

As an Agile development team, the squad must deliver new features and support to a high-speed messaging engine.
It includes a user interface that allows for the construction of validation/enrichment/transformation rules. Although the team is fairly new, the product is quickly gaining traction across the world. This leads to new opportunities and challenges on a regular basis.

Key Skills

As a requirements engineer, the candidate must be able to translate high-level business wishes into concrete user stories in clear English
Strong analytical skills are needed to flush out both functional and technical requirement details
Although no development skills are needed, the candidate must possess a good understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, XML, JSON, and Java artefacts such as classes, jars, wars, etc. Must be able to interact professionally with external stakeholders
Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an Agile organized team
Strong previous experience of Finance
Nice to Have

Some knowledge of testing and test automation
Experience with performance testing
Experience with data transformation concepts
Financial background
Experience with JIRA, Confluence

An understanding of SWIFT MT or MX message structures
