Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist
Role Purpose
The Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist supports and develops strategic compliance monitoring plans and executes associated controls. The role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of issue resolution — from tracking findings through to implementing recommendations — while ensuring accurate internal and external reporting.
This position contributes to safeguarding regulatory integrity and ensuring that compliance frameworks operate effectively within the banking and/or fund sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and execution of strategic compliance monitoring plans
- Execute compliance controls and assess their effectiveness
- Track compliance findings and manage remediation activities
- Oversee the lifecycle of issue resolution and follow-up actions
- Prepare clear and precise internal and external compliance reports
- Conduct company research and quantitative analysis
- Support process and project management initiatives
- Take ownership of defined workstreams within projects
- Contribute to workshops and meetings; coach stakeholders at working level
- Lead small teams within larger projects when required
- Deliver clearly defined work products aligned to project objectives
- Support the organization in achieving intended outputs and outcomes of compliance-related initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Finance, Law, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Compliance Quality Assurance specialist (experience in designing and executing compliance monitoring plans is a strong plus)
OR
At least 4 years of experience as an Auditor - Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking industry and/or fund sector
- Experience working with best-practice operational models
- 2–3 years of experience in a relevant operational area (e.g., CRM, Finance, Operations, Talent & Organization)
