Cybersecurity Consultant IAM
Location:
Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 2 days on site)Rate:
Up to 650€ per day (DOE)Contract:
6 months with potential to extendPrimary Responsibilities:
• Function as a subject matter expert for successful design and implementation of IAM solutions in a complex environment.
• Act as a liaison to business, technology and project management partners and act as an IAM advocate for technology initiatives while guiding the organisation in modelling of Business roles and onboarding of applications.
• Look for ways to optimize IAM processes and recommend opportunities and solutions for improvement, automation and streamlined integration. .
• Conduct maturity assessments and technology gap analysis for the IAM program.
• Able to translate business requests into functional requirements.
Governance & compliancy:
• Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with IT, Audit, and other oversight teams to understand and remedy audit findings.
• Answer general inquiries regarding information security practice or security access.
• Make recommendations for implementing desired level of access controls.
• Assist in implementing action plans to address system access issues.
• Identify, define/approve and implement continuous process.
Reporting
• Develop reporting methods and ensure that metrics are captured and reported for the team to monitor productivity and quality of service.
Competencies:
• Experience with tools providing access control, authentication, and authorization, such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Active Directory or ForgeRock
• Familiarity with Cloud service providers such as AWS, SalesForce and Azure
• Experience in devising IAM strategies and implementing IAM solutions for complex enterprise environments with diverse user populations.
• Strong understanding of current IAM technologies with an interest in emerging technologies within the IAM space
• Solid understanding of Identity Lifecycle, SSO, authentication models, and security concepts, SOD, GDPR
• Strong relationship building skills and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make sound business decisions and gain cooperation of others.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Works well under pressure
Required:
• A passion for and deep understanding of technology risk and information security
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Information security experience, compliance and risk management, including privacy, data protection, security controls, etc...
• Demonstrated understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices
• Demonstrated understanding in formulating strategies, alternatives and recommendations in information security management.
• Knowledge of industry regulatory environment and risk management practices
• Demonstrated ability to think critically about risks and clearly articulate prevention and detection mechanisms to key partners.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with a focused attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively lead discussions and meetings.
• Experience in Business role modelling

• Excellent command of English and good knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset
