In the controlling department of my client we are looking for a financial controller for the Opex domain. My client are responsible for financial reporting and insights to the Management Committee Belgium as well as to Group Finance as input for external quarterly results.

In this position you will take responsibility for several domains. On the one hand you will be responsible for the controlling & reporting of these costs. But the main focus is on the analysis and driver based insights to Management regarding your Opex domains.
These analyses are both ex-post (actuals) and forward looking, with an increasing focus on the latter component.

This temporary deployment is to replace a colleague who is leaving the team and for whom we have no backup. We are therefore looking for someone who can settle in independently and quickly master new material. Since the main focus is on Opex with my client, knowledge of IFRS17 is certainly a plus.
