Fund accountant, PERES, Fund Accounting & Consolidation
Responsibilities:
Consolidated Structures Management:
• Handle complex consolidated structures in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Private Equity.
• Process operations in compliance with Accounting Principles (Lux GAAP, IFRS, etc.) and consolidation requirements.
• Review and validate consolidations performed by the Consolidation Accountants.
Operational Service:
• Ensure efficient operational service to clients with adherence to processes and rules.
• Oversee the Consolidation Team's delivery of efficient operational service.
Financial Reporting:
• Support co-sourced financial reporting activities.
Documentation and Controls:
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and application of processes and controls.
Client Management:
• Manage client expectations.
Team Development:
• Facilitate the integration of new team members.
• Provide training and coaching to consolidation accountants.
• Develop expertise in various matters (Merger, DE-merger, consolidation methodologies, etc.) and ensure consolidation accountants are well-trained.
Managerial Support:
• Backup and assist the Manager Consolidation Accounting in daily organization.
Rational Tasks:
• Efficiently manage routine tasks.
Experience and Skills:
Essential:
• University degree (bachelor or master) or post-graduate in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
• Extensive experience (7 years) in Accounting and Consolidation of Alternative Funds regulated by Luxembourg law.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German and French is a plus.
Desirable:
• Audit experience.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS.
• Extensive knowledge in the preparation of Financial Statements (Lux GAAP and IFRS).
