Fund Consolidation Accountant PERES - Consolidation
Summary
The Fund Consolidation Accountant role, positioned within the PCS (Private Capital Services) consolidation team, involves managing and overseeing complex consolidated structures across various asset classes such as Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Private Equity. The role requires ensuring that operations are processed accurately and timely, in accordance with relevant accounting principles (e.g., Lux GAAP, IFRS) and consolidation requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
• Operational Service Efficiency: Ensure that the Consolidation Team delivers efficient and compliant services, following established processes and rules.
• Review and Validation: Oversee and validate the consolidations performed by other members of the Consolidation Team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support Financial Reporting: Assist with co-sourced financial reporting activities, ensuring that they are conducted efficiently and in alignment with client needs.
• Process Documentation and Controls: Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and ensure that controls are properly applied.
• Client Management: Manage client expectations and ensure that client needs are met through high-quality service delivery.
• Team Integration and Training: Facilitate the integration of new team members, providing appropriate training and coaching to ensure their success.
• Expertise Development: Develop and share expertise in key areas such as mergers, de-mergers, and consolidation methodologies, particularly under IAS/IFRS standards, and train team members accordingly.
• Managerial Support: Provide backup and assistance to the Manager of Consolidation Accounting in daily organizational tasks.
• Rational Task Management: Ensure that tasks are managed logically and efficiently to support the overall goals of the consolidation team.
