Multifonds Transfer Agency (TA) Implementation Consultant | Luxembourg (On-site)

The opportunity

Join a high-impact implementation team in Luxembourg working on Multifonds rollouts for leading asset servicing and fund industry clients. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for a consultant who has already worked on Multifonds Transfer Agency in real projects and wants to be close to the action: workshops, solution design, testing, and go-live support.

What you will do (scope and responsibilities)

1) Functional expertise on Multifonds Transfer Agency

• Act as a Multifonds TA functional specialist (this role is strictly on Transfer Agency, not Fund Accounting).

• Deep-dive into TA processes and translate them into configuration and operational design, including:

  • Investor onboarding and account maintenance

  • Subscription, redemption, switch, transfer workflows

  • Dealing lifecycle, validations, exceptions and cut-offs

  • Register and investor record management

  • Fees and commissions (where applicable to TA scope)

  • Corporate actions and investor communications (when part of TA operational flows)

• Support clarification on functional behavior of Multifonds TA satellites (when in scope of the solution).

2) Requirements, workshops, and business analysis

• Run or contribute to business workshops with stakeholders (operations, product, IT, sometimes end clients).

• Capture, challenge, and structure requirements:

  • Current state vs target state

  • Pain points, constraints, controls and regulatory expectations

  • Data needs, interfaces, and operational handovers

• Produce high-quality functional outputs such as:

  • Business requirement documents

  • Functional specifications and user stories

  • Process maps, operational procedures, and change impacts

3) Solution design aligned with IT standards

• Deliver qualitative solution design consistent with internal IT standards and architecture guidelines.

• Work closely with technical teams to define:

  • Functional rules and parameterization guidelines

  • Interfaces and data flows (upstream/downstream systems)

  • Impacts on operations, reporting, and controls

• Provide strong functional input to ensure the delivered solution is scalable and supportable in production.

4) Project delivery support (planning and execution)

• Provide project management assistance to keep delivery on track:

  • Contribute to roadmap, milestones, dependencies

  • Provide effort estimations and implementation approach

  • Support governance cadence, action tracking, risk and issue management

• Ensure alignment across business, IT and vendor teams, maintaining clear ownership and next steps.

5) Testing strategy, quality, and go-live readiness

• Define and deliver the test strategy for TA scope:

  • Test approach (SIT/UAT), entry/exit criteria

  • Test coverage aligned to business processes and controls

• Ensure strong test execution readiness:

  • Test scenarios and detailed test cases

  • Test data requirements and preparation guidance

  • Traceability from requirements to test cases and outcomes

• Control changes and assess impacts:

  • Evaluate functional changes, process impacts and operational risks

  • Support defect triage and resolution with IT/vendor teams

• Prepare and maintain the documentation required for production rollout:

  • Operational procedures and runbooks

  • Release notes and change logs

  • Cutover and go-live checklists

  • Knowledge transfer materials for support teams

What we are looking for

Multifonds TA experience

• 3 + years of proven Multifonds experience specifically on Transfer Agency.

• Hands-on involvement in at least one Multifonds implementation (ideally multiple), including workshops, specifications, testing, and go-live support.

• Strong understanding of TA business processes and how Multifonds supports them.

• Comfortable operating as the functional reference point between operations, IT, vendor and delivery teams.

Language and location

• Fluent English is mandatory (day-to-day communication and documentation).

• French is a strong plus.

• Based in Luxembourg (or able to be on-site in Luxembourg) and willing to join the local team for project execution.

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to vendor management and delivery follow-up with Temenos in a project context.

• Experience working with offshore development teams and distributed stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of fund servicing environments in Luxembourg and production-grade delivery expectations.

• Familiarity with structured delivery methods (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall).
