IT Data Business Analyst (Insurance)

Data Business Analyst (Insurance) – Luxembourg (onsite)

Support and deliver data-driven projects within an insurance environment (data platform, reporting, governance, data quality, DWH). Act as the key interface between business and IT/Data teams.

Key Responsibilities

•             Gather and analyze business requirements (insurance processes)

•             Translate needs into functional specs / user stories / data rules

•             Work on data mapping, definitions, lineage and documentation

•             Support UAT and validation with strong focus on data quality

•             Lead/participate in workshops and manage stakeholders (Business + IT/Data)

•             Contribute to governance deliverables (data glossary, KPIs definitions)

Must-have

•             Proven BA experience on Data projects

•             Insurance industry experience mandatory

•             Strong collaboration with Data teams (Engineers, BI, DS, Architects)

•             Fluent/Native French required

•             Strong documentation and communication skills

•             Experience with DWH / Data Lake / BI / governance / quality initiatives

Nice-to-have

•             Professional English

•             AI exposure (analytics, GenAI, automation, governance impacts)

•             Knowledge of data catalog / BI tools / data quality frameworks
