IT Production Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Production Engineer to join our Ops Support team within the IT Production department. As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous delivery of our services by maintaining operational readiness of customer interfaces during designated service periods. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and execute IT resource processing workflows to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Integrate and deploy applications in production using Jenkins Github, ensuring smooth deployment processes.
• Track monthly releases and execute Ansible playbook tasks to automate routine operations.
• Monitor daily batch processes on the Linux platform using bash scripting to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Supervise business applications, implement RPA, and conduct end-to-end business monitoring to optimize performance.
• Monitor performance metrics and proactively address any deviations from established benchmarks.
• Manage operational incidents by conducting diagnosis, intervention, and alerts as necessary.
• Establish and maintain control procedures to ensure the reliability and security of production environments.
• Conduct 1st and 2nd level incident analyses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
Requirements:
• Immediate or very short-term availability to start in the role.
• Proficiency in the following areas:
• Systems: Linux (scripting) and Windows (Powershell).
• File Exchange Platform
• Collaborative tools: Jenkins, Github, build, Ansible.
• Control-M Planner.
• Containerization (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of continuous delivery practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
