Java Developer

Java Developer required to work for one of the largest financial organisation in Europe.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a industry leading financial services platform using cutting edge technology.

Requirements:

o Practical experience with development of standard & enterprise Java applications (3 years or more)

o Excellent Java programming skills

o Experience with SQL databases

o Must be a team player with good communication skills and must be a self-starter with minimum support due to current situation

Experience with following technologies is a plus:

o JavaEE backend technology (JPA 2.0 , JMS, EJB 3)

o JavaEE Application Servers (e.g. WebLogic / JBoss)

o UML usage, design patterns

o Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Artifactory, IntelliJ)

o Command script development and execution on Linux and Windows (ksh/bash/PowerShell)

o Jenkins, Sonar integration tools

o Knowledge of unit testing tools such as Junit / Mocking Frameworks

o Knowledge of Oracle Database Server and PL/SQL

The following interpersonal skills are essential:

o Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions

o English is mandatory and this includes good English writing skills

o An interest in financial world (Mutual / Hedge Funds) is appreciated
