Operations Performance Lead | Executive KPI Cockpit (Dashboard) | Wealth Management / Private Banking | Luxembourg

Mission overview

A well-established Wealth Management / Private Banking organisation in Luxembourg has recently consolidated its operational teams into a single service centre (order placement, settlements, back office, data management, risk and related functions). The next step is to professionalise performance steering across the full operational chain by launching an executive KPI cockpit (dashboard), automated, clear and decision-led.

Today, each team leader uses their own KPIs and definitions, resulting in too many indicators, inconsistent calculations and limited executive usability. This mission is about creating a single, meaningful performance language for the organisation and delivering a cockpit that is genuinely used by senior management.

Your role

You will act as the Operations Performance Lead and drive the end-to-end delivery of the KPI cockpit, working directly with the COO, CEO and Executive Committee/Board, and in close collaboration with the team leaders of each operational department.

This is not a reporting assignment. The expectation is to select the right KPIs, standardise them, build the steering model and ensure executive adoption.

Key responsibilities

1) Understand the business and the operational chain

  • Rapidly understand the end-to-end operational processes and the organisation’s critical pain points.

  • Identify the most relevant performance and operational risk drivers across departments.

  • Align senior stakeholders on the decisions the cockpit must enable.

2) Rationalise, select and standardise KPIs

  • Conduct a full inventory of existing KPIs across teams and remove duplicates and low-value metrics.

  • Define a core executive KPI pack (limited, action-oriented) plus meaningful drill-down views by department.

  • Produce a robust KPI dictionary: definitions, calculation rules, thresholds/alerting, frequency, ownership, data sources.

  • Establish a KPI governance model: validation process, ownership, escalation rules and recurring steering routines.

3) Design and launch the executive cockpit (dashboard)

  • Design a cockpit that is simple, readable and actionable for senior management (Power BI preferred, tool remains open).

  • Ensure intuitive navigation: executive overview, departmental views, end-to-end views, exceptions and trends.

  • Coordinate with IT and/or BI specialists to deliver at pace, automate refresh cycles and secure data reliability.

4) Drive adoption at executive level

  • Facilitate workshops with team leaders, challenge inconsistencies and drive alignment.

  • Prepare and run weekly/monthly steering reviews, with a decision-focused narrative: what happened, so what, now what.

  • Translate signals into concrete action plans and follow-up.

Required profile (non-negotiable)

To be considered, you must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Proven experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking operations (Luxembourg strongly preferred). A close environment (asset servicing, securities services) may be considered only if you have led executive performance steering in an operational setting.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering an executive KPI cockpit used by senior management, including:

    • KPI rationalisation (reducing a large, inconsistent KPI set into a clear executive pack)

    • KPI standardisation (definitions, thresholds, ownership, governance)

    • Executive adoption (regular steering routines with COO/CEO/ExCo/Board)

  • Strong stakeholder management: comfortable engaging directly with COO/CEO/Board-level stakeholders and aligning multiple operational leaders.

  • Ability to translate complex operational realities into a clear KPI set and an executive-ready cockpit.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience building or co-building dashboards (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau or equivalent), strong data literacy (sources, data quality, refresh automation).

  • Experience with service centres/shared services, operating model optimisation, SLA/controls, incident management and continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working with IT/BI teams in a pragmatic delivery approach (hybrid agile/waterfall).

Practical details

  • Location: Luxembourg

  • Start: End of Q1 / Beginning of Q2 2026

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Languages: English required; French is a strong plus

  • Working model: presence in Luxembourg required at least during key phases (workshops, steering committees, go-live)

Apply

If you meet the prerequisites and are interested, please apply with your CV and include:

  • a short example of a KPI cockpit you delivered (before/after KPI count, governance model, executive usage)

  • tools used (Power BI/Qlik/Tableau/other)

  • your availability and Luxembourg presence constraints
