Oracle APEX Developer (Contract) | Luxembourg | Start April | 3 months (extension possible)

Context

A Luxembourg-based organisation operating in the financial services / fund platforms ecosystem (client name confidential) is looking to reinforce its delivery capacity by bringing in an experienced Oracle APEX Developer. The goal is to design, build and improve internal applications on an Oracle stack, with a strong focus on security, scalability and usability.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable applications and integrations, and support the deployment of changes across environments.

Contract details

• Location: Luxembourg

• Start: April

• Initial duration: 3 months (extension possible)

• Working language: English (French is a plus if you have it)

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance Oracle APEX applications (forms, interactive reports/grids, workflows, dashboards) with a clear focus on user experience

• Write and optimise SQL / PL/SQL (queries, packages, performance tuning) and work confidently with Oracle database architecture

• Use and integrate APEX plugins where relevant

• Implement and integrate RESTful services (consume and/or expose APIs)

• Support application deployment activities: packaging, export/import, release steps and environment promotion (DEV/UAT/PROD)

• Contribute to good engineering practices: secure-by-design approach, clear documentation, and maintainable solutions

Must-have requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Oracle APEX

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL

• Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture

• Proven experience with:

  • APEX plugins

  • RESTful services

  • Application deployment (exports/imports, releases, environment promotion)

Nice to have

• Experience working with the Multifonds data model (strong advantage)
