Project Assistant
Job Summary:
The Project Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the program and project office, offering guidance on project management techniques. This role contributes to the achievement of specific research goals within projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Project Manager with budget tracking.
• Delegate project tasks to team members.
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring project plans.
• Aid in the change management process.
• Fulfil reporting requirements at the project, program, and Board levels.
• Analyse information and present it in an organized manner.
• Report and escalate issues to the Project Manager as necessary.
• Build and maintain relationships with team members.
• Prepare for implementation activities.
• Attend project meetings and take minutes when required.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Mid-level experience with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Proven experience as a project administrator, preferably in the IT sector.
• Strong technical background with knowledge or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Excellent internal and external communication skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Familiarity with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
