Project Manager - Fund Accounting Change Programme

•Role type – Contract (hybrid working) 6 months with likely extension
•Location – Luxembourg (Only EU candidates, or those with valid Lux work permit will be considered)
•Day Rate – Circa. €600 per day

Role/ Department

You will join the Transformation and Innovation team within Global Fund Services, a team dedicated to delivering change projects on behalf of the Fund Accounting business globally. Most projects involve material transformation of the operating model across multiple locations, whether implementing new technology, improving processes or changing the organisation design.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

•Defining the required outcomes, scope and outcomes of the project
•Break down the project into discrete ‘work packages’ that can be delivered by the project team
•Creating and managing the project plan, ensuring it is defined, maintained and tracked at the right level of detail
•Identifying and managing risk, issues and dependencies
•Managing the deliverables and stage boundaries of the project, providing clear ‘definitions of done’
•Managing the project’s meeting cadence, ensuring appropriate documentation and audit trail
•Organising and managing the project team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring tasks are assigned
•Managing and driving the day-to-day project activities and plan, escalating where required
•Monitoring the quality of output of all project artefacts and deliverables
•Adopting and following programme governance and PMO processes
•Engaging stakeholders to ensure the business change impacts of the project are managed

Skills/ Qualifications: The successful candidate will benefit from having:
•Proven experience of managing business and technology projects from initiation to closure
•An understanding of Fund Accounting’s processes and systems
•Relationships with the Fund Accounting stakeholders
•Formal project management qualifications (for example PRINCE2 or PMI)
