Senior Cloud Data Engineer - Azure & Go Developer

Your Role:
As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer with Golang expertise, you'll join our Reference Data team.
You will:
Architect & Implement Solutions: Develop technical solutions based on Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
End-to-End Dataflows: Manage data ingestion, transformation, verification, and output, ensuring seamless data operations.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work with Data Architects, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to build a new Reference Data platform managing over 8,500 attributes and 140 million data updates per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, implement, and test software components and services.
Data Pipeline Management: Develop data pipelines, models, services, APIs, and quality metrics.
Code Excellence: Write scalable, robust, and maintainable code with clean documentation.
Architectural Leadership: Lead architectural decisions towards an efficient microservices distributed architecture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Financial Analysts, Testers, and other stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background: University degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience: At least 6 years in software development, with a strong background in financial industry processes.
Agile Methodology: Experience in agile project management with a solution-oriented mindset.
Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-location international team.
Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, GCP).
Expertise in Azure Data Bricks and data lakes.
Strong knowledge of Go programming language and frameworks.
Familiarity with versioning tools like Git.
