Senior Financial Accountant/ Consultant role-
We are looking for a consultant to support the Finance team for 6 months ( with a possible prolongation of anther 6 months for the following tasks
VAT CORP tax matters
Month end BS reconciliations
Finance controlling tasks
Knowledge of Finance consolidation and preparation of yearly financials
We are currently going through a Finance integration process and this consultant should be able to support the team during this period
1. Lead Finance Processes: The Senior Financial Accountant will take the lead in specific finance processes, collaborating with both finance and business teams. The goal is to ensure high-quality monthly financial accounting and reporting for the Bank.
2. Governance and Controls: It is essential for the analyst to maintain strong governance and controls for finance processes. This is to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of accounting and reporting activities.
3. Report Production: The analyst will be responsible for producing specific management and regulatory reports as required by the Bank.
4. Financial Planning and Analysis: The role includes providing financial planning and analysis, offering insightful analysis for management to make informed decisions.
5. Support Transition: The analyst is expected to support the transition to new finance and business processes and applications as needed. This implies adaptability and readiness to work with evolving systems and technologies.
1. Qualification: A post-second level qualification in finance or business is required, indicating a strong educational background in relevant fields.
2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles is needed, including experience in Accounting, Reporting, or Financial Planning and Analysis. This ensures that the candidate has a strong foundation in finance.
3. Language: Proficiency in English is required, both in oral and written communication.
4. Skills: The candidate should possess strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to determine accounting and reporting requirements for business transactions. This highlights the analytical and problem-solving aspect of the role.
5. IT Skills: Strong IT skills and proficiency in finance applications are necessary, indicating a reliance on technology for financial analysis and reporting.
