Senior Fund Accountant
As a Senior Fund Accountant within the AIFM fund accounting team, you will oversee investment structures in Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Debt, and Private Equity. Your role involves ensuring timely and accurate processing of operations in accordance with relevant accounting principles such as Lux GAAP and IFRS. Responsibilities include maintaining adherence to agreed timelines, reporting any issues promptly, and reviewing the work of other team members.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient operational services for clients, adhering to processes and regulations.
• Review and validate NAVs generated by the fund accounting team.
• Support co-sourced financial reporting activities.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and enforce process controls.
• Manage client expectations effectively.
• Facilitate the integration and training of new team members.
• Provide backup support to the Manager of the fund accounting team.
Requirements:
Must-have:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Extensive (7 years) experience in accounting for Alternative Funds regulated by Luxembourgish law.
• Ability to represent clients internally and externally.
• Fluent in English (French proficiency is desirable).
Nice-to-have:
• Audit experience.
• Profound knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP.
• Extensive expertise in preparing Financial Statements (Lux GAAP and IFRS).
