Job Description:

As the Senior Manager, Operations, Finance & Performance Engineering, you will lead a team to build and optimise the Accounting Book of Records (ABOR) ecosystem, including SimCorp Dimension, Investran, Yardi, Wall Street Office etc.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, Alternative Assets and in partnership with peer Technology & Data team and a variety of business departments, this role will have an unique opportunity to drive a multi-year initiative transforming and simplifying the existing systems.
To be successful in this role, you need to have solid experiences of driving transformations through team culture, engineering processes, architectural evolvement, project management excellence and new technology adoption.
You will also need to develop and nurture strong relationships with partners from different technology, data and business groups, building an strong understanding of existing processes and how to apply best engineering practices to reduce operational costs and improve operational efficiency.

Role:

Challenge the status quo and drive engineering excellence by proactively identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve process agility, delivery efficiency, system stewardship, and architectural simplicity.
Guide the engineering team in the partnership with IT architecture to produce robust and scalable solution designs for complex enterprise applications with deep understanding of supported business capabilities.
Lead the delivery of end-to-end solutions and oversees solution transition to operational state.
Effectively manage a team of 5-10 software engineers, proactively develop talents through coaching, and building in-team SMEs.
Manage vendor relationship and engage vendors when required to solve product performance and scalability issues to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication, attention to details and relationship management skills, across all management levels.
5-10 years of experiences of managing engineering, consulting or software development teams, covering full delivery life cycle.
5+ years of experiences in designing, building and delivering ABOR systems in investment industry with deep understanding of supported business capabilities,
SimCorp Dimension related experience is essential.
Solid tracking records to challenge status quo and continuously drive system and process improvements.
