Senior Project Manager

 

Overview

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major Front Office Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) upgrade. This role will involve end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, and coordination across technology and front-office teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of a CRIMS upgrade project, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Front Office, Technology, and external vendors.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, reporting, and governance documentation in accordance with SDLC best practices.
  • Oversee requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and post-deployment activities.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Ensure alignment with organisational standards and strategic objectives.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS / CRD) – highly prioritised.
  • Proven experience delivering complex front-office or trading system projects within financial services.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and JIRA for project tracking and workflow management.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and governance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with asset management, investment operations, or front-office environments.
  • Background managing vendor relationships in large-scale system upgrade programmes.

 

 

Location: London (Onsite, Full-Time)
Contract Length: 12 Months
