Senior ICT System Engineer
The ideal candidate will bring passion and enthusiasm for the following responsibilities within our diverse internal IT framework:
Managing a virtualized server infrastructure (Hyper-V) within the data center.
Implementing and supporting intricate cross-border network and security configurations.
Ensuring robust availability of core infrastructure through redundancy, backups (Veeam, Backup Exec), and DR planning within a hybrid data center/cloud environment.
Facilitating continuous migration and enhancement of services to the Azure cloud.
Overseeing network and IT equipment management (Windows and Mac) for over 200 employees spread across multiple locations.
Driving ongoing enhancements in IT security, system protection, and availability.
Contributing to the implementation of internal IT projects in the technical domain.
Collaborating effectively with outsourcing partners.
The candidate should demonstrate the following expertise:
Proven professional experience in a similar role.
Profound knowledge of enterprise networking, VMM, Hyper-V, PowerShell, Endpoint Management, M365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Azure AD, and Cloud Security.
Experience with cloud and Windows server environments/services, Configuration Manager, and Intune.
Certifications in security (e.g., CCSP, CISSP) or MS Azure.
Proficiency in both German and English.
A hands-on approach and a strong team orientation.
