System Engineer

ICT System & Cloud Engineer (80–100%) | Switzerland (Basel Region)

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and applications, primarily on-premise and partly in the cloud

• Provide 2nd level support and troubleshoot complex, interconnected system environments

• Deliver projects independently to further develop client and server infrastructure

• Actively manage and coordinate external IT partners

• Contribute to Change, Problem, and Incident Management at second-level

• Create and maintain system documentation and continuously optimize operational processes

Your Profile

You bring:

• A higher education qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

• Certifications such as ITIL, Linux, SQL and or Microsoft as a strong advantage

• Strong experience administering Linux and Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP

• Solid knowledge of SQL databases and networking fundamentals

• Experience with virtualization solutions such as Citrix or Nutanix as a plus

• Familiarity with Infoblox, MS Defender, AppSense and PRTG as beneficial

• Experience delivering and supporting MS Azure, Microsoft 365, Teams and Exchange Online

• Fluent German as required, with English and or French as an advantage
