Transaction Agent role (PERE)



Within the Private Capital Services Shareholder Services team is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of transactions with a focus on maintaining compliance with legal duties and alignment with group decisions and global operating models.

Responsibilities:


Transaction Processing:
• Reviewing investor statements, call notices, and distribution notices.
• Performing/reviewing cash reconciliations for incoming and outgoing funds.
• Preparing/reviewing client and investor reporting, such as audit requests, bespoke reporting, and regulatory reporting conducted by outsourced locations.
Quality Control and Oversight:
• Conducting spot checks and control checks on outsourced locations.
• Providing clear action plans based on the checks.
• Organizing workload within the team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Team Management and Development:
• Supporting the manager in ensuring the team operates efficiently.
• Training new team members and supporting the development of junior team members.
• Reviewing the work of colleagues and junior staff members.
Risk Mitigation and Ad Hoc Projects:
• Identifying and highlighting risk areas within the team.
• Developing procedures to mitigate risks.
• Working on ad hoc projects as required.
Communication and Client Relations:
• Ensuring proper communication with clients, internal departments, and business lines.
• Resolving issues, including those with internal departments.
• Actively supporting client reviews and ensuring client retention through proper service delivery.
Operational Efficiency:
• Ensuring an efficient operational service to clients by following processes.
• Developing dedicated expertise in various matters such as capital calls, secondary market, partly paid, and fully paid.
Legal Documentation Analysis:
• Analyzing supporting documentation provided by clients, shared with the Legal department, with regards to subscription agreements or any legal documentation written by lawyers to ensure accurate and complete files.

Requirements:


• University or post-graduate degree with experience in operations within commercial company firms.
• Knowledge of business strategy, priorities, processes, and experience in quality execution.
• Fluency in English, French desirable; knowledge of German is considered an asset.
• Very good communication skills, especially towards clients.
• Strong organizational skills.

This role demands a high level of attention to detail, a proactive approach to risk management, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various operational and legal aspects related to shareholder services.
