Transfer Agency - Change Team Specialist

£400 per day umbrella
9 month initial contract
London - Hybrid Working

Role:

Reporting to the UK Transfer Agency (TA) Change Team Manager you will work for the UK TA Change Team within the UK Transfer Agency department.

The department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions.

The UKTA change team itself is currently a team of 21 full time staff across London and India. The prime responsibility of the team is managing Change Requests from initial request through to implementation.

You will play a key role in a large client project which includes remediation and multiple register updates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand exact requirements
-Attend regular meetings with stakeholders and management as required
-Initiate scope and business case definition for all change requests on behalf of UK TA
-Raise change request to system vendor
-Lead testing ensuring minimal errors
-Support the project plan to ensure key deliverables are met and escalate issues / potential slippage in a timely manner
-Promote effective, accurate and relevant communication to stakeholders and, project sponsors
-Support the project in all areas to ensure the client’s expectations are fully met
-Lead implementation to live ensuring minimal impact to BAU processes

Skills Required

-Process/Business analysis and improvement experience in change initiatives is key
-TA knowledge a benefit
-Excellent organizational, analytical, conflict management and negotiation skills are required
-Able to plan work in an efficient manner and work independently to strict deadlines
-Must have strong communication skills (both written and oral)
-Strong client focus gained in a financial services company
-Highly flexible and adaptable to change
-Project Management experience preferred
-Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft tools (especially Excel)Soft Skills-Ability to prioritise workloads effectively
-Ability to work independently
-Ability to work efficiently remotely with our offshore partners
