Transfer Agent Role



The opportunity described is for a Senior Administrator role within an investment fund team. The key responsibilities involve managing transaction processing, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, maintaining accurate documentation, and aligning services with group decisions and global operating models. Here's an overview of the role's responsibilities, required tasks, and qualifications:

Responsibilities:


• Transaction Processing and Documentation:
o Prepare investor statements, call notices, and distribution notices.
o Review cash reconciliations for incoming and outgoing funds.
o Prepare and review various client and investor reports such as audit requests, bespoke reporting, and regulatory reporting.
• Team Management and Support:
o Organize and allocate work within the team to ensure timely task completion.
o Support the manager in ensuring the team's efficiency, including training new members and developing junior staff.
o Review the work of colleagues and junior staff to maintain quality standards.
• Risk Management and Process Improvement:
o Identify and highlight risk areas within the team and develop procedures to mitigate these risks.
o Work on ad hoc projects to improve operational efficiency.
• Communication and Client Service:
o Maintain proper communication with clients, internal departments, and stakeholders.
o Resolve issues, both internal and external, and ensure proper client retention through high-quality service delivery.
o Participate actively in client reviews and support their needs.
• Operational Excellence and Expertise Development:
o Ensure efficient operational service delivery by following established processes.
o Develop specialized expertise in various fund-related matters like capital calls, secondary markets, etc.
o Analyze legal documentation and subscription agreements for accuracy and completeness.

Must-have:


• University or post-graduate degree with experience in operations within commercial company firms.
• Experience in funds, including AIF, private equity, real estate, and private capital services.
• Understanding of business strategy, priorities, processes, and experience in quality execution.
• Fluent in English and French languages.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with clients.
• Strong organizational abilities.
