Business Development Representative – Finnish/Swedish/English speaker


Our client develops innovative, cloud-based technology to make it easier, more effective and efficient to deliver connections that count in this increasingly complex world.

JOB SUMMARY:

Supporting the Sales Executives by taking responsibility for developing new business through lead generation and maintaining existing accounts. This will involve maintaining industry knowledge, as well as an understanding of what their clients, both current and prospective, require.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

•Support the Sales Executives to identify key areas of opportunity in the market
•Prospect potential clients by cold calling and leveraging internal and external relationships
•Collaborate with colleagues and customers in order to provide customers with initial information regarding how our client offering can best address their current and future business needs
•Schedule meetings and perform demonstrations for senior sales team when required
•Supports the Sales Executives in closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and our client business objectives
•Generate contracts
•Ensure high quality client interactions
•Manage prospect list for each region
•Maintain campaign lists and ensure outbound activity to prospects across multiple campaigns
•Respond to escalated customer issues
•Conduct demos of the press release distribution, monitoring, webcasting, and webhosting platforms
•Develop a deep understanding of software and consultative selling
•Process service requests and contracts within CRM
•Proactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning
•Assist customers through the sales process (pre-sale through to post-sale)
•Alongside Sales Executives, conduct ongoing reviews of the territory plan, referring back to it regularly to make sure the plan is on target

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or marketing/sales

  • Fluent Finnish & Swedish & English

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

•Previous experience in a sales environment, B2B sales experience an advantage
•Strong communication skills with proven B2B experience
•Demonstrate knowledge of digital media/marketing/PR or similar
•Experience of maintaining up to date and accurate data
•Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyses information quickly in order to take appropriate action
•Experience of working to tight deadlines and meeting assigned SLAs
•Demonstrate an understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the products and services provided by West and its’ competitors (including business trends, regulatory issues, global implications) to contribute to the anticipation of customers’ needs
