• Market Environment: An assessment of thematic industry, regulatory and infrastructure developments
• Competitive Environment: An assessment of the competitor products, services and strategic investments
• Vendor & FinTech Environment: An assessment of thematic vendor / FinTech developments
• Client & Prospect Environment: An assessment of current and anticipated needs across the value chain: Asset Issuer Clients, Asset Owner Clients and Asset Manager Clients
• Commercial Opportunities: An assessment and quantification of C&IS-wide commercial opportunities to accelerate Northern Trust investment in new or enhanced solutions that enable business revenue growth.
• Innovation Opportunities: An assessment of innovation opportunities to leverage emerging technology (e.g. artificial intelligence and blockchain) to enhance the value of identified commercial opportunities
• Strategic Recommendations: Strategic recommendations for further research and business case development of high priority opportunities (as defined by the co-sponsoring business executives)
