Business Analyst – SWIFT Standards & Securities Operations, Luxembourg

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in SWIFT Standards, financial messaging, and securities and cash operations. This role will lead the assessment, interpretation, and delivery of major SWIFT Standards Releases and related messaging changes across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing annual updates to MT/MX messages and ISO 20022 formats, assessing operational and system impacts, and translating technical changes into actionable business requirements. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Corporate Actions, Settlements, Asset Servicing, Custody, Cash Management, and Collateral to ensure seamless adoption of updated messaging standards.

Core responsibilities include:
• Conducting end-to-end impact assessments of SWIFT messaging updates
• Producing business and functional requirements and supporting solution design
• Delivering clear documentation, including process flows, test plans, training materials and communication artefacts
• Coordinating workshops and engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure organisational readiness
• Supporting system enhancements, message validation, and UAT execution

Required expertise:
• Proven experience working on SWIFT Standards Releases or large-scale financial messaging change
• Strong knowledge of MT/MX messaging, ISO 15022/20022 and related market practice
• Understanding of securities operations across corporate actions, settlements, asset servicing, custody, cash and collateral
• Demonstrable business analysis skills, including requirements capture, process mapping and testing support
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate technical change into business impact
