Senior Infrastructure Engineer - London - Permanent

Skillfinder is urgently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a small equity firm based in the city of London. This will be a permanent role.

The role:

You will be reporting to the CFO and will be responsible for supporting the company’s server and network infrastructure as well as providing 3rd line support to 100 users.

Essential Skills:

We are looking for candidates who have worked for a similar-sized organization working within a busy financial environment and can work under pressure dealing with issues that are raised.

• Windows Server technologies. AD, Exchange, SQL, DFS, NPS, PKI, Storage Replica, Hyper-V, S2D, Hyperconverged clusters.

• In-depth knowledge of server and storage hardware, preferentially Dell

• Understanding of good security practices for software and infrastructure

• Configuration and monitoring of Cisco network infrastructure including switches and firewalls

• Understanding of disaster recovery strategies and experience testing and improving processes•Experience leading and delivering infrastructure projects

Desirable:

• Financial software technology solutions such as EMS/PMS systems, Bloomberg -Pipe
