Senior Fund Accountant - Jersey

Are you a qualified accountant with experience in fund accounting, looking for your next challenge in Jersey? We’re hiring a Senior Fund Accountant for a dynamic fund services company, offering you the opportunity to work with prestigious clients and develop your expertise across private equity, property, and infrastructure funds.

Why this role? This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety and client interaction. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering timely, high-quality fund accounting services.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly management accounts

• Produce annual financial statements under UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, or AUS standards

• Manage fee calculations, carried interest, distributions, and waterfall models

• Liaise with auditors and support the year-end process

• Ensure compliance with client procedures and respond to queries

• Support client meetings, proposal documents, and occasional pitches

• Contribute to process improvement and documentation updates

What we’re looking for: Essential:

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification

• Strong ability to prepare final accounts from source documentation

• A self-starter who meets deadlines and works independently

• Experience reviewing work of junior staff

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jersey fund structures and regulations

• Exposure to private equity, property, or infrastructure funds
